Short — ~50 words

Nomad is a virtual pet with a real inner life. It sits on your Windows desktop, chats with a personality shaped by how you raise it, and remembers what you tell it — your exam on Friday, your dog's name. Care for it, explore a 3D world together, and collect its wild cousins.

Long — ~150 words

Nomad crosses the nostalgic virtual pet with the modern AI companion — and gives the result a home on your desktop. A short personality quiz matches you with one of six archetypes; within a minute, a small creature is idling on your screen, says hello, and asks about you. It has moods, long-term memory, and a personality that drifts based on how you treat it. Under the companion is a real game: an explorable 3D overworld, a daily dungeon (the same for every player, different every day) whose difficulty honestly reflects how well you've cared for your pet, rare wild Nomads to tame into a collection, branching evolutions, PvP battles, and an earned-only cosmetic wardrobe. Nomad is deliberately anti-predatory: cosmetics-only monetization, no loot boxes, no guilt mechanics, no data selling — its design promises are published at /values and ship as part of the product.

Why it's interesting

The empty intersection: pet games have no AI memory; AI companions have no body or game; desktop mascots have neither. Nomad occupies all three at once.
The memory moment: tell it something in passing and it asks you about it days later — the feature that makes people screenshot it.
